This Privacy Policy (Policy”) governs the collection and handling of your (“you”) information by Kindling’s (“Spigit, Inc.,” “Kindling,” “we,” “our,” or “us) websites, services, and applications (“Site”).


To use the full range of Kindling’s services, the Site may collect contact information and billing information, including first and last name, email address, phone number, credit card details, photos and likenesses, and skills or interests. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you or other Kindling users choose to submit to the Site. Contact and/or billing information is only used by Kindling with regard to billing and web analytics.

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser in your computer when you visit the Site. Kindling uses cookies to improve its services and make them easier to use. Cookies permit us to recognize users and avoid repetitive requests for the same information. Most browsers will accept cookies until you change your browser settings to refuse them. The Site also uses third party tracking technology (such as Google Analytics) to track site usage, in the aggregate, in order to enhance the user experience on the Site. This technology is not tied to personal information gathered on www.kindlingapp.com. Information collected in cookies is not linked to personal information such as contact or billing information.

Kindling uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run Kindling’s services. Employees of Kindling or approved contractors or resellers have access to personally identifiable customer information. All employees, contractors, and resellers are legally bound to uphold this Policy and observe your right to privacy and confidentiality.

We restrict access to personal information to Kindling employees, contractors, and agents (such as third party credit card processors) who “need to know” the information in order to operate, develop, or improve the Kindling services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet the obligations set forth in this Policy.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information, as required by law: (i) when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights; and/or (ii) to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.


Kindling will never share your information with third parties for promotional use, unless we receive your consent.


On request, Kindling will grant individuals reasonable access to view personal information Kindling holds about them, and to correct, amend, or delete information that is demonstrated to be inaccurate and/or incomplete.


Kindling will take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to, or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your data. Kindling uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Kindling services. Although Kindling owns the code, databases, and all rights to the Kindling application, Kindling shall not be held liable for the fault or negligence by any third party vendor or hosting partner.

Any information sent by e-mail is not encrypted, and is subject to all security limitations inherent to that medium.

Data Integrity and Enforcement

Kindling conducts audits of its privacy practice compliance in order to ensure our processes and software meet the standards set forth in this Policy.

Kindling may contain links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by Kindling. Kindling is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. This Policy applies only to information collected by Kindling.

Email Communications

Kindling reserves the right to email account holders for accounting or billing information, maintenance or critical notifications or in response to any inquiries. Occasional newsletters may be sent to account holders highlighting recent news about Kindling as well. You may opt out of some e-mail communications from Kindling by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ option at the bottom of these emails, or by managing notification settings for your account in the Kindling application.

Some account holders will enter third party email addresses to invite new users to their Kindling instance. We will automatically send these users a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site.

Changes To This Policy

Kindling may periodically update this Policy. We will notify you about any material changes to this Policy by prominently notifying you via our website or the Kindling service.
